After two years as a field volunteer, Beatrice Safari now serves as Aqua-Africa’s Director of Field Operations.
Beatrice was a civil administrator working for the South Sudanese federal government and gained much knowledge and experience in that role. She was able to play an important role in its first project in Beatrice’s home village, Langabu South Sudan.
In the three years she has been a volunteer with Aqua-Africa, she has helped organize, facilitate and implement over 10 wells.
“I enjoy working closely with the communities we serve and seeing their gradual transformation.”
Beatrice’s first responsibility as Director of Field Operations is to oversee the drilling operation to benefit 1,500 individuals in 3 communities. These wells are underway and scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
