Maiwut Power and Water Agreement
On Saturday, November 16th, Aqua-Africa and the Maiwut Community in Upper Nile State, South Sudan agreed to start the process for establishing an off-grid water and power utility for the community in 2020 – 2021. Even though there are significant challenges to overcome before the taps are opened and the power switched on, getting a signed agreement was a promising start!!
